Katniss is on the cover or Interview . Ahem Jennifer Lawrence is on the cover of Interview Magazine , the German edition, April 2012. It’s an awkward pose, even for lovely Jennifer Lawrence . Photographed by Matthias Vriens – McGrath , Jennifer upped her seduction game from girl – next – door to Warhol star. Hopefully she also gets to breathe in the inside pictorial (doesn’t she look like she’s barely holding her breath there?) Jennifer Lawrence’s Interview Germany April 2012

AnOther Jessica Chastain
March 4th, 2012
admin I came to love Jessica Chastain for her theatrical versatility and for her normality. Every time I see her on the Red Carpet she seems like such a nice, normal person! And now she’s a star! How long will she hold on to her natural ways? Until that question is answered, I’d like you to take a look at AnOther Jessica Chastain ! AnOther Magazine ’s Spring Summer 2012 cover shows a white faced Jessica, laughing her face off. She’s oddly similar with Florence Welch , but that could be just me… Anyway, Willy Vanderperre did a nice job photographing Jessica for the exquisite fashion magazine , there’s another picture right after the jump, the Diva – attitude, bored and perpetually waiting for something to wake her interest. Like I said, AnOther Jessica Chastain. (now on a more personal note – we tried to watch The Tree of Life and we stopped because it was so sad. So unbearably sad – anyone seen it? Does it get lighter? Brighter?) AnOther Jessica Chastain
Raven hair, red lips
December 25th, 2011
admin Posted in Fashion / Fashion blog / Fashion photo shoots / Fashion pictures Dark, short hair with blunt micro bangs contrasted by edgy bleached eyebrows: is it coincidental that the Rooney Mara’s costume in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo called for precisely the same combination? We anticipated that, as a 2012 hair trend , the ultra-short fringe would be helped along by its presence on the big screen. Adding weight to that theory is this shoot for S Magazine starring Charlotte Tomaszewska. Article continues . To read it in full visit ‘ Raven hair, red lips ‘ at Fashionising.com
Kat Dennings Does Bust Magazine And We All Know Why
December 13th, 2011
admin Though I promise myself repeatedly that I’ll watch 2 Broke Girls, I keep falling asleep the moment I hit the couch. So I have no real feeling of Kat Dennings ’ role in the above mentioned TV series (do you? Please share?). Thus I’ll keep my story short, just on the Bust topic. Kat Dennings we all know and love is gracing the December 2011 issue of Bust magazine . And her inside pictorial is beautiful, not above the average, but not Bust-y at all. Like they were trying to make a point? (hmmm. Really?) Like Kat herself is trying to preach in her interview: “Women are sexy – the end. And you can use that power if you want to. But there’s a certain even more powerful element not using it, just leading with other things – how smart you are, how funny you are.” Kat Dennings Does Bust Magazine And We All Know Why
Virtue versus passion
October 27th, 2011
admin Posted in Fashion / Fashion blog / Fashion photo shoots / Fashion pictures Despite the number of times I’ve put religion and sensuality in the same sentence, the subject matter hasn’t been exhausted yet. The underlying fascination is always conflict: conflict between impulsive heart and rational mind; conflict between the discipline of religious creed and the whims of human nature; between virtue, and passion. In a rustic European setting that enters the imagination as some secluded convent, Mila Krasnoiarova plays the part in the mandatory pared back long cotton socks, high ruffled collars, and traditional white bonnets. The mood is as solemn as the weather-beaten patriarchal crosses and as isolated as the grey ocean backdrop – though sewn through with a resulting sense of yearning. Article continues . The fire of youth
October 16th, 2011
admin Posted in Fashion / Fashion blog / Fashion photo shoots / Fashion pictures It’s about rebellion, passion, lust and immaturity. Those few years of our lives where ignorance and inimitability are bigger trends than what animal prints could ever be. Proudly flagging the tag line of ‘youth’, Fiasco magazine explores this stage of life in its 15th issue with portrait photographer Nicolas Guerin . Just as the lack of discipline is supplanted with enormous fervour, everything you’d expect from an unruly young adult is featured in this editorial. Tattooed arms, skateboards, undone shoelaces, raging music equipment, messy hair, and effortless wardrobe… the list is endless. Article continues .
