Prince pop culture collision

Poland-based K MAG is one such publication that finds one focal point in every issue, be it a cinematic journey, a fashion spread or a music genius, and works around it as a theme. The title, Purple Rain, is enough to give away the inspiration behind their latest issue, him being Prince – a pop star, a super star and every ’80s child’s bathroom anthem. This editorial pays tribute to the artist’s first single Kiss that topped the Billboard charts in 1986. Polish photographer, Weronika Bang Gornicka, has maintained the integrity of the original music video and reinterpreted it through the reddish-purple hued photography. Article continues .
